Sanaya Irani is a very big name on TV. The actress can boast of a beautiful face, slim figure and never-ending legs. She is a model turned actor who was born on 17 September 1983 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The actress completed her schooling in Ooty. She later graduated from Sydenham College. Her family tries to stay away from the media and not much is revealed about them. The Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon star is a Zoroastrian and is dating her Miley Jab Hum Tum co-star Mohit Sehgal. Despite the various rumors stating that the two have split, Sanaya maintains that the couple is very much together and is planning to tie the knot very soon.
Sanaya has appeared in a number of Indian commercial advertisements and has shared screen space with the likes of Sharhrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. In 2011 Sanaya starred in one of the most popular Indian television series Iss Pyaar Ko Kyaa Naam Doon. She played the role of Khushi Kumara Gupta. Sanaya’s chemistry with co-star Barun Sobti was loved by everyone. The 29 year old, again played the role of a sweet and innocent girl next door, in this show. The show came to an abrupt conclusion because Barun Sobti had to bid adieu. This soap by far, has been Sanaya’s biggest television success. Currently Sanaya is starring in the new Sony TV show Chhanchhan, where she plays the role of the protagonist Chhanchhan Sarabhai.
